Norm served in the Flora Community Club and was a charter member and president of the Senior Citizens Apartments Board. Always a proud American, Norm initiated the annual display of flags along Flora’s streets and maintained them for years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lelon Patterson, her parents, Francis Otto and Carrie Kent Farris, a brother, Fred Farris and a son-in-law, Roger Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of sixty-four years, a sister, Louise Blunt and a brother, George Monroe. Visitation will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, Walls, MS on Monday, June 14, 6-8 p.m.
Services will be Saturday, September 17, 2 p.m. At Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with John Williams and Kevin Williams officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Church of Christ Cemetery, New Site, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
On June 2, 1957, Jane married her high school sweetheart, Norman Lee Beck, in Young America, Indiana. Jane had a crush on Norm since the 4th grade and they remained married and practically inseparable until his death in January, 2021. Geneva is preceded in death by two sons, Gary Lynch and Roy Farris. Geneva Jane Brummett, died peacefully at her home in Williamsport on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Geneva was born on February 20, 1938, in Delphi, IN to the late Forest and Edith Lynch.
Joyce enjoyed working as County Health Nurse for the past eleven years. Many Carroll County residents counted on her for their immunizations and other healthcare needs. She will fondly be remembered as the nurse that gave “me my shot” by many patients.
She will be missed by everyone she touched and is always in our thoughts. Her extended family included all those at Neshaminy Manor who she cherished, telling them she loved them daily. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda, and granddaughter, Samantha, as well many nephews and nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces. He is survived by his son Jozef “Marek” and his wife Elizabeth of Sarosota, FL; his daughter Beata Levin of Rome, Italy; his grandson Paul of Queens, NY; and his granddaughter Magdalena of Athens, GA. A celebration of life will occur at a future date by planting a tree and sprinkling her ashes. The date, time, and location are yet to be determined.
